EYEMAXX Real Estate is extending its development activities with Hotels in strategic markets. EYEMAXX plans to capitalize on the dynamic growth of Central & Eastern Europe and Russia by developing several hotels for the business sector in capital cities and important secondary cities in the region. To lead this expansion effort, Jon A. Pirtle, III, CFRE, was named Managing Director – Hotels in the second quarter of 2008. Formerly, Senior Vice President of International Development for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, Mr. Pirtle has developed hotels, resorts and mixed-use integrated projects in Europe, Central & Southeast Asia, and North America.

EYEMAXX Real Estate will focus on establishing internationally branded and professionally managed hotels in key CEE and Russian Federation markets. These hotels will generally target the mid-market segment (three & four star) for business travelers and tourists. Cities with planned EYEMAXX hotel developments include Moscow, Kiev, Dnepropetrovsk and Budapest. EYEMAXX also has several commercial projects including office, shopping centers and logistics centers which are being reviewed for contiguous hotel developments to serve the future demand in these high-growth areas.
