Bucureşti, Octomber 16th  2008 – The developer EYEMAXX Real Estate finalised a Senior Loan Agreement for 38 million euros with Raiffeisen Zentralbank. This loan will be used for developing the whole construction for LOG CENTER Ploiesti, a class A logistics project situated 7 km away from the center of the town closer than 1 km to the future motorway. LOG CENTER Ploiesti lies on 39 ha, with a warehouse of 60 000 sqm and 11 700 sqm office spaces.

„Comparing to other countries in CEE, the need of logistic projects is higher in Romania, especialy outside Bucharest, due to the expansion of the multinanional companies’ business.
The banks started to have reticence to the real estate field and obtaining this Senior Loan Agreement is a recognisition of the high quality of projects developed by EYEMAXX. The 38 millions euro will cover the whole senior loan part of the investment in LOG CENTER Ploiesti, estimated at 50 million euro”” declares Johannes Rudnay, Managing Director EYEMAXX Real Estate.

EYEMAXX started the construction for LOG CENTER Ploiesti Phase I this June and until now it finished a great part of the works. These are being made by the construction company Habau. The first development phase will be finalised by the end of this year, the space being already almost fully rented. Out of 14 458 sqm of warehouse space and 1 445 sqm of office space 85% have been signed and leased. The next phase can, due to the signed senior loan agreement, be started any time giving EYEMAXX Real Estate and its clients the greatest possible flexibility. „We are able to deliver large scale class A warehouses to our clients within 6 months” declares Johannes Rudnay.
EYEMAXX Real Estate has signed pre-contracts for LOG CENTER in other 5 towns: Brasoc, Cluj, Bacau, Constanta and Craiova. The company’s vision is to have an efficient and integrated warehousing and main distribution, through a network of A Class logistic centers. This leads to better processes, the increase of quality, as well as the diminish of the costs for logistic product.
